Winter Workday - November 16th

Under the direction of Bob Revis the SPRS recovered a Bridgeport Series 1 vertical milling machine from a neighbor of a SPRS volunteer. This will be very useful in the continuing restoration of Locomotive #4. Tim Clay and David Winners assisted in loading the milling machine to ride to Como.

Preparing for an outstanding next year at Como the 2025 Open House poster schedules were mounted in the Roundhouse, at the Roundhouse entrance as well at the Como Depot. Winterization of Roundhouse continued with the bay and visitor door stops added to limit wind and snow into the Roundhouse during the winter on behalf of the Engine Crew.
