This was a herculean effort of Bob Schoppe to pursue the recovery of lightweight rail, “once in a lifetime”, 352 sticks which is equivalent of about another mile of track on the Como Heritage Site.

Norm Acker, Sam Kunngi & Luke Miller continued the lettering of C&S #8311. Cleaned out Bay #1 & relocated locomotive parts to bay #4 for assembly (Norm Acker, Mike Sharp & Dan Silbaugh).

Road Master Alex Hois, Jim Scoville, Bob Burnham & Don Weber worked on the stub track to maintenance sheds.

Preservation crew Joey Knous, Paul Greguoli & Dallas Mead continued work on maintenance sheds installing new floor.

Cars were relocated preparing for winter work.

Chris Tome made arrangements to accept & pick-up a wonderful donation from Chris Hoyt of Parker - a Laguna Bandsaw, Grizzly table saw, a Grizzly Planner & a Grizzly dust collector. Unloaded & positioned by Jim Scoville, Bob Petersen & Mike Sharp within cleaned out Bay #1 until shop is built that will be useful in future car restoration.

Once again the appreciative volunteers gave a standing ovation for Leslie Cole with help from Chris Ruch for preparing yet another scrumptious hot lunch!

Volunteers present not captured in photos: Jon Dierksheide, Steve Thompson & Catherine Woodham.

Little noticed & important safety item - Sam Kunugi fabricated and installed a blue flag indicator on track with workers indicating track is out of service!
